WHO ARE WE?

Costa Palmas is a residential resort under development along the Sea of Cortez, next to the town of La Ribera, in the region known as East Cape in the state of Baja California Sur. Costa Palmas covers an area of approximately 1,000 acres, along a 2-mile stretch of white sand beach with crystal clear waters. 

The resort will include a marina with a commercial area, an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, organic orchards, and an exclusive yacht and beach club for residents.

In 2018, Costa Palmas was awarded the Blue Flag certification for La Ribera beach, an international
award granted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) to beaches that meet strict environmental,
educational, safety and accessibility standards.

We pursued this certification due to the importance of establishing measures to monitor water quality, protect
biodiversity, support sustainable coastline infrastructure, as well as provide environmental
education and prevent pollution in the area.

This certification was achieved thanks to the close collaboration with the regional coordination
managing the “Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone and Land Reclaimed from the Sea”
(ZOFEMAT, due to its name in Spanish) in the Municipality of Los Cabos.
